Equines, prey animals, have survived for thousands of years through recognition of non-verbal signals and highly adapted self-preservation skills. Equines have an abundance of mirror neurons which allow them to read and react to your internal reactions. In other words, they can see right through you. This makes them excellent partners in coaching.
Our 50 acre setting in Hesperus Colorado, with a secluded meadow and stream make the perfect setting for reflection, growth and healing. Equine Activities along with traditional coaching methods, journaling, creative writing, and art further provide a channel for connection to your true desires and dreams.

Wishing Star Ranch
The song "To Wish Upon a Star" is a very fond memory I associate with my father. I do not recall any specific event related to this. When we moved to the ranch in 2002, "Wishing Star Ranch" is the name I gave it. The ranch has been a place of true healing for me and has made many of my dreams come true. I am blessed to now share it and its healing properties with others.
